How does it work?
Key Features
- With a click of a button in monday.com, set the item you wish to work on within Outlook
- Add item updates from within your Outlook
- Edit items and subitems with the item card feature
- Create new items and subitems from outlook
- Save your most used boards, groups, items and subitems by marking them as favorites
Add the monday.com for Outlook add-in
- Go To our Microsoft AppSource page: monday.com for Outlook Or just download it straight from your Outlook by clicking ‘Get add-ins’ and search for ‘monday’
- Click ‘Get it now’
- Open a new email window (or forward/reply to an existing email), and click on the Monday.com add-in
- You should be prompted to authenticate your monday.com account with your monday.com login credentials and by clicking ‘connect to monday’
Start working with the add-in
- Add one of our integration recipes, for example: “when a Button is clicked, set this item as current working item in outlook”, to your selected board in monday.com
- Select an item to work on by clicking the button we just created
- When you open the outlook add-in, the item you selected with the button will be selected for you automatically
Features
Get your last Outlook conversation within monday.com
- Add our ‘deep link’ integration recipe: “When an update is created add conversation to *link column*”, to your selected board in monday.com, to connect to the “link column”.
- When you use the outlook add-in to send an update. The email itself will be added as a link to said column.
- The last email you sent will be available as a monday.com item update & as a link you can open and reply to.
- Please note that only the user who sent the email can access the link. While sending an email the conversation link will append under the email’s signature.
Sales CRM
- Create new CRM leads and contacts within Outlook
- Lead/Contact name, email and company will be filled automatically based on the email content
- Option to send the body of the email directly to the lead/contact update
- Make sure you have the Sales CRM product on monday
- To be able to create lead/contact add the product to the user through Administartion > Users on monday
